Teenage card

As my girls always prefer my handmade cards to give to their friends, I thought I would get some done ahead of time. I got this digi image from KennyKdownloads and coloured it with copics. I embossed the text and used a spellbinders die for the tag it's on. Papers are from Basic Grey's 'Olivia' paper pad. Now my girls are arguing over who should have it!

and

I have been a very lucky girl this week, not only have I had a prize arrive at my door from a recent win but I received a free copy of the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine with one of my cards pictured in it!
Talk about exciting.
Although I am a big fan of Copics, with my prize being a gift voucher recently I decided to indulge in some more distress inks to have a go at colouring with them. After seeing so many gorgeous images coloured this way in Magnolia Ink and on many blogs I found it too tempting not to try. This card is my first go with the inks, it turned out a little darker than expected but not bad for a first go! (I have to remember a little ink goes a long way)

This is 'Wilma' from Magnolia and text stamp is from Whiff of Joy. All die cut shapes are from Spellbinders and the bow was made with the Bow Easy tool.
I am entering this card in the following challenges,
3 papers, 3 flowers, 3 ribbons

Hearts and Flowers

These are 2 of my newest stamps from Magnolia,
'Romantic Window' and 'Tilda with many Hearts'
I have cut out the window pane so you can see the image inside. Paper is from Magnolia and other items used include copics for colouring, red glitter on coloured roses (not that the photo shows it well) Scrapmatts chipboard flourish, Wild Orchid roses, Square doily, Martha Stewart Heart punch some scrap ribbon to make the bow woth my Bow Easy.

This card I'm entering into the following challenges,
Cute Card Thursday - Hearts & Flowers
Stampin for the Weekend - St Valentines day
Try it on Tuesday - Hearts & Flowers
For the inside I have used Spellbinders oval die.
Sentiment stamp is from Whiff of Joy , General Stamp Sayings set.
Ek Success edger punch for round binder edge.

Hope you all have had a great weekend,

Tilda with Peony

This sweetie is 'Tilda with Peony'
I have used Magnolia papers, Rose Garden and Lace Flower as well as the spotted paper and a doily. Text stamp is from Whiff of Joy, general sayings stamp set.

It's gorgeous and I couldn't wait to colour it.
