Scallop Stand Up Card

Sweet and simple little card here to enter into a couple of challenges.
Black, White & 1 other, is the colour challenge over at Allsorts Challenge Blog
Cute Card Thursday has a challenge too, No designer papers. How's that!
Why not have a go aswell....

I've used Memento ink on this Magnolia stamp and coloured in with copic markers. (see colour list below)The scallop circle is Spellbinders and on the white circles I have used my InkEssentials blending tool with Versa Magic's 'Pixie Dust' chalk ink pad to soften the edges. (a bit heavy handed tonight though) Finished off with stickles 'Frosted Lace' and Prima flowers.

Not many markers used for this one!

Of course the bow was made simply with the BOW EASY.

Round & Round Boy Card

For my son's birthday I decided to have my first go at a step card. He has always loved dinosaurs and dragons, so when I came across this digi image I new it would be perfect.

I've coloured with copic markers, black spica pen and hightlighted with a white gel pen.

I cut the present and balloons with my Cuttlebug dies and used the Spellbinders ovals for the image. The balloons are on wire to make them stand out.
Here is the side view of the card.

I have paper pierced the box the digi image is in. Copic colours used; BG0000, BG000, BG01, BG05, BG23, G20, G24, B0000, B12, B14, B24, YG03,

I also made a pull out money/gift voucher pouch to match.

This card is for 2 challenges.

The first is Charisma Card Challenge #21, Going around in CIRCLES.

The second is a brand new challenge from Inlinkz, see details below.

Summer Tent Card with Charms

Colured with copic markers is Strawberry Tilda. I've used papers from October Afternoon with an assortment of flowers, charms, brads & ribbons from my handy craft stash.

What's in the box?

This is my very first explosion card. When you lift off the lid the sides fall down as shown in the picture below. Thay can be a little time consuming, but the finished product looks awesome.
Several challenges all rolled into this card.
Cupcake Craft Challenge
- Blooms & Charms
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Say it with Flowers
Pixie Dust Studio Pixie Challenge
- Pearl (I coloured my pearls dark blue)
Stamp Something - 2 of Something (2 butterflies)
Flutter By Wednesdays - Butterfly, fairy or angel. (Butterflies of course!)
Pile it on Challenge - Out of the Box.

This is a picture of the box standing up open.

This is Noble Tilda, surrounded with various flowers (glittered with Kindy Glitz), Maya Road pins, and two Magnolia butterflies, which I have stuck onto long pieces of acetate to have them flying free. I have used Websters Papers, cardstock and finished off some edges with a Martha Stewart border punch.
Copic markers I used for Tilda & butterflies
Hope you like her!

Another Mix of Challenges

I enjoy the extra challenge when mixing a few different ones into one project.
This adorable digital image is 'Cupcake Kiki' I got her from All that Scraps.
Their Wednesdays Challenge is to use dry embossing. I've used my cuttlebug to emboss the white oval with little dots.

I have followed the Colour Create Challenge which is to use soft green & light aqua.
This is some colour inspiration below

The sketch I've followed is this week's challenge over at Friday Sketchers

Great Gift Idea & Challenge from ATS

All That Scraps has a fun challenge this week to make and decorate a cone. What a great alternate idea for children's party favour bags and special treats! Instructions for you to make your own are included on their challenge blog HERE

These sweet little cherries are a digital image from Tiffanys Doodles, coloured with copics and finished off with stickles frosted lace.

Tickled Pink Challenge #1

This month is the very first challenge for Tickled Pink Stamps, above is the sketch to follow.
I've used Tilda with Three Flowers coloured with copic markers and Kaisercraft's Duchess papers. Hope you like her, why not join in the challenge too.

I had a lot of fun making this card. I've used Websters Pages paper (2009 release), Kaiser ribbon from a Christmas embellishment pack, the cute little pebble is from Prima and of course the lovely Tilda is coloured with copic markers.

Sketch used is by Becca Feeken
for the current Magnolia-licious challenge.
I really like this one.

I'm also entering this card into the Cupcake Craft Challenge.
This week the theme is BUTTONS.

Cupcake Craft Challenge #89

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mums out there.

This is the card and matching gift bag I decorated for my Mum for Mother's Day. Inside are her favorite chocolates. I followed the recipe challenge over at Cupcake Crafts. It was all the 3's.
***3 PAPERS...3 RIBBONS...3 FLOWERS***

I've kept it simple. Paper's are from Papermania, Kaisercraft pearls, Magnolia garland, Prima flowers, white blossoms and ribbons from my pile at home. Martha stewart punch. I used my spellbinder dies to create the ovals and ink blending tool around the edge of the white oval. Plain white craft bag from Spotlight I decorated to coordinate with the card.

Pink & Brown

All That Scraps Wednesday challenge, is to create using the colour combo of 'pink and brown'
I've used some of the new Prima papers and pearls. All other embellishments I found left over from other projects. The bow was made Oh so easily with my bow easy. (I don't know why I didn't get one sooner) A little bit of stitching for something different and I'm done. Time for bed now.

Back at last!

After being away with work commitments and unable to get to a computer, I've been missing in action for awhile. But of course while away I did take many of my supplies with me, and lucky I did. I forgot to take my mobile phone charger and a lovely lady let me borrow hers. Here is the thankyou card I made for her in appreciation for her generosity.
