NO, NOT A CARD TODAY.

I haven't disappeared, just had no free time lately to be creative. But I have managed to get this done, just!
Today I have a layout instead of the usual card. Over at Scrapbooking Allsorts we have a challenge which has to include buttons & lace. This is the page I made for the theme using some of Prima's pretty new papers and flowers. The photo is approximately 60yrs old and is of my mother with her own mother and sister. Hope you enjoy!

Photo Inspiration Challenge

Over at Caardvarks this week is a photo inspiration challenge. As soon as I looked at the photo I knew I had to use this paper from Basic Grey's Porcelain range, and look no stamped image! The paper is just too nice to cover.
If you find yourself inspired, join the challenge

Simple & Sweet!

This little boy is a digital stamp I purchased called I Love It! from Mo's Digital Pencil Too.
He is coloured with copics using the colours set for the Copic Colour Challenge #54 http://copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/

I used the great sketch from The Sweet Shop Challenge #46 http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.com/

The challenge over at the ATS blog had to incorporate dots & stripes. The papers I used for this are K & Co's Snugglebug range. Join Wednesdays Challenge here http://atsblog.typepad.com/wednesdayschallenge/

Sweet Tilda

Just as she is named this Tilda is very sweet! I coloured with copics, added some frosted lace stickles and used my white Prisma pencil to tone down the green a bit. Not my favourite colour but with St. Patricks day this month some challenge themes are using it.
This is also my first easel card, they are lots of fun.

This card follows the sketch from the Magnolia-licious challenge (I turned it on it's side) and you can join in here, http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/

Over at The Pink Elephant Challenge, green has to be added in your colour combo,

Copic Creations Challenge requires a wee bit of green too!

Cute Card Thurday Challenge must also consist mainly of green
Wow that covers a few, stay tuned for another Sweet Tilda soon.

Girly

I absolutely love this paper! Papermania Blueberry Hill paper pad it's got lots more gorgeous pages also, which will definately all get used. Sarah Kay image is coloured with copics, and yesterday I just received all the newly released pale ones and I haven't even had a chance to play with them yet. The postie delivered them just as I was leaving to go to work, you can guess how much I just wanted to stay home! To make the bow I used the 'Bow Easy' and for my first try with it I was wrapped with how easy it was to make great bows. Pearls flourishes are from Prima's new release for 2010 as is the large white rose with it's glittered outer petals.

I followed the sketch for the 'Stamp with Fun' challenge, http://stampwithfun.blogspot.com/ and made it girly for the Simon Says Stamp challenge. http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/
